Channel Islands day trip: Ferries from Weymouth go to Guernsey, Jersey and St.Malo

Walking: go fossil hunting along the Chesil Beach, start of the World Heritage Jurassic coast, or just walk along the South West Coastal Path enjoying the beauty of Hardy’s Wessex.

Diving & Sailing: Weymouth and Portland are the home of sailing events for the 2012 Olympics and have a thriving sailing and diving community.  Beginners and experts welcome.
